Bowie Heritage Building

In November, 2003 Seneca acquired 16300 Heritage Boulevard, a former State Farm claims office located in the City of Capitals office park at Routes 50 and 301 in Bowie, Maryland. The property consists of a 12,621 sf one-story office building with 3 drive-in bays on 3.17 acres at the corner of Heritage Boulevard and Mitchellville Road. Prior to closing, Seneca signed a lease with Enterprise Leasing Company (a tenant in another of Seneca's properties) to occupy the entire building. Enterprise had been searching for a regional headquarters facility that could also serve as car rental location. General Electric Business Asset Funding (GEBAF), a lender who specializes in credit, single tenant assets provided the permanent loan on the project. Enterprise converted two of the drive-in bays into a car rental office, converted the third bay into a car washing facility and upgraded the remaining square footage into its new regional headquarters.
